	What are CPSS Courses?

	How do I take a test?
	Taking a CPSS exam is quick and simple. Just follow these steps: 1. Email cpssnet@gmail.com (or the email id that will be sent to you with your notes) that you are prepared to take the exam. 2. You will receive a confirmation email and your exam will be emailed to you in .PDF and MS-Word format within 48 hours. 3. You will be informed a time limit (Mostly, 10 days) to answer and return the exam answers (by email or post.) 4. You will be informed of the results within a week.

	After I pass what do I get?
	After you pass, you will be sent a certificate within 3-4 weeks of successfully completing the test. You can also permit an employer to send us an email to authenticate your certificate.

	What kind of format do the Exam follow?
	The general format of the tests is given below: Approx. 20 Multiple choice questions with one correct answer. Approx 8 to 10 Subjective questions out of which you have to answer any 5. No negative marking for wrong answers All questions carry equal marks Some tests may require you to answer a question based upon a graphic image Some exams may be all Theory.

	What is the syllabus of the Exam?
	The syllabus for the exam is the Course materials.

	Can I see the answers to the questions after my exam paper has been corrected?
	Your answer sheet will not be returned to you nor will it be possible for you to see your corrected answer sheet. If you wish to seek a re-evaluation, you will need to send and email to cpssnet@gmail.com (or the official email that will be given to you) and the needful will be done. Re-evaluation carries a charge of Kd.5/- or Indian Rs.750/-

	What are the passing marks for the exam?
	As the paper will be of 100 marks, the passing marks are 35.

	How can I purchase a CPSS course?
	Please CONTACT us and we will advise you regarding payment options. You can pay cash, by cheque, demand draft or bank transfer.

	How much does a course cost?
	Any course in the CPSS costs Kd.45/- or Indian Rs.6,500/- If you choose to purchase 2 or more courses, you can avail of big discounts.

	How much does an Exam cost?
	Absolutely nothing. Your course fees covers exam costs and delivery of the Certificate.

	What is the exam re-take fee?
	There are no charges to re-take an exam if you fail in the first attempt. The only condition is that you have to take the test not sooner than one month and not later than 2 months after your (fail) result. For a second attempt and subsequent re-takes thereafter, a charge of Kd.5/- or Indian Rs.750 will be charged for each attempt.

	What happens if I do not appear for my exam within 12 months of purchasing a CPSS course?
	If, for any reason, you wish to extened your training period from 12 months to 24 months, you have to pay a charge of Kd.5/- or Indian Rs.750/- for an extension of six months. This charge has been levied to encourage students to appear for the exam within one year.

	Can I get a refund on my course fees?
	There is no provision for a refund on the course fees as course materials are sent by email. You can be assured that course materials are simple, detailed and comprehensive and as yet we have not had a single student wanting a refund.

	What software do I need to access course materials?
	You will need an internet connection to receive the emails with the course materials and to email your exam if you are not posting it. You should also have a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat installed on your PC to be able to peruse the course materials. Adobe Acrobat is available as a free download at the Adobe site. You should also have installed on your PC a document reader such as MS-Word, or Writer by OpenOffice.org.

	How long does it take for my certificate to arrive?
	The certificate takes 3-4 weeks for delivery depending upon the country you reside in. It is sent through courier or Registered Post.

	How can I prove to my employer that I appeared for a CPSS exam?
	Simply ask your employer to email us your student number and we will email him a verification, CC. to you.

	Are the CPSS certifications approved/endorsed or affiliated with major software vendors or any University?
	The CPSS is an independent institute with in-house skills assessment. The CPSS is not affiliated with or approved by any of the software vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, Sun or IBM or by any University. The CPSS encourages you to complete your degrees, such as BA, BCom, BSc etc., with any University you may deem fit.
